I have recently come to the conclusion that a great library makes all the difference when it comes to studying. I haven’t seen many other college’s libraries, but the D’Amour Library is surely second to none. I was at the library every single day putting in around two to four hours a day. I couldn’t ask for anything more out of a library. Besides giving me a quiet space to study and do my work, D’Amour is equipped with three floors. There are computers and printers on every floor (including a computer lab down in the basement), secluded workspaces, and even a little coffee shop. The people that work in D’Amour are extremely helpful and nice. Every time I need help finding a book or have questions, they have always gone out of their way to help me out. Students can also rent out computers, study rooms or even cameras if you happen to have a project that requires you to film (which I did last semester). Overall D’Amour library is an exceptional place to get work done, and I am glad that I have access to such an environment. I believe that libraries are often overlooked and unrated in the college experience but now the secret is out.
