The snow is hopefully melting away for good and spring is on its way soon which means that spring break is around the corner! There also was a major news development last week, as WNEC announced our annual spring event. Tickets went on sale just yesterday for the spring concert featuring Vanessa Carlton and the Goo Goo Dolls! I’m looking forward to this exciting event as are the students here at WNEC!
Though I have a while to wait and considering how much snow needs to melt just to see some green again, at WNEC there’s much to look forward to when all the white
disappears. To kick off the softball season, our team is holding our spring training in Florida! We depart right before break starts and play 10 games against schools such as Bowdoin College and Wesleyan University over a 6-day span. Before we depart sunny Florida, we get a day off to experience Universal Studios in Orlando for some team bonding. I’m looking forward to getting a break from all this cold weather and hopefully returning home to some green.
