Now is that time. We had a great last semester, but now is the time to kick it into high gear. You students are probably receiving many acceptance letters to the many colleges you have applied to. You are undergoing changes left and right and are probably wondering when it will ever stop and when you can finally make a decision. It’s the greatest feeling ever, trust me. It seems crazy that it was almost a year ago I decided to take the biggest step of my life by enrolling at Western New England College. Needless to say I’m so glad I did. This semester is definitely harder than the first, but there is so much to look forward to. Spring sports have started practice and I am busier than ever. But staying busy is what makes every day so exciting. It is even almost time to pick housing for next year! There is so much to think about but it all just makes you grow even closer to your friends. There are a couple of events coming up that I am also excited about (spring break is one of them too). But in the meantime, we are getting psyched for the post season of winter sports, and the charity event “Dream Date” put on by the Residence Hall Association. Students will auction themselves off for a “date” with all of the proceeds going to charity. It is a fun event with Valentine’s Day coming up, so it should be a good time. Just some advice, when you get those acceptance letters, come back to campus again before making a decision, (like for the March 26th Accepted Students Open House). You may look at a school differently once you are accepted and it may completely change your outlook on college!
Until next time!
Maria
