I hope you are all enjoying the fall weather as much as I am. Back home, it was a tradition to go apple picking as soon as October came around and drink hot apple cider and eat apple cider donuts. So, since I was not home to go apple picking with my family, my friends and I decided to go apple picking ourselves. We went to Monson, MA which is only a short 15 minute drive from WNE. My friends and I had an amazing time and we started to feel like a family because we have been doing so much together as one group.
One of the things I love about Western New England is that there is so much to do on campus, but there is also so much to do off campus as well. My friends and I love to take weekend adventures and go to a nearby town to check out a new restaurant and right now we’re looking forward to Fright Fest at Six Flags New England, which is also only a short 15 minute drive. Western New England definitely feels like home to me and with so much going on around campus and off campus there is never a dull moment! I hope everyone has a great long weekend and enjoys the fall weather and maybe even does some apple picking. See you all in two weeks!
